Who we are.

iam/marketing (operating as Scale Up Marketing LLC) is a direct-response marketing operator. This policy covers iammarketing.io, our booking pages, our newsletter, our courses, and any service we deliver under the iam/marketing brand.

What we collect.

• Identity. Name, business email, phone, company, website — when you book a call, opt in to a guide, or buy a product.
• Business context. Monthly revenue range, ad spend, top channels — when you fill our intake forms. We use this to qualify and prepare for calls.
• Payment info. If you buy, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers — Stripe handles that under PCI-DSS.
• Account access. If you become a client, you may grant us read-only or admin access to your ad accounts, store, email platform, or analytics. That access stays only as long as the engagement does.

• Device + usage. IP address, user agent, referrer, pages viewed. Used for security and to understand which content actually helps people.
• Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for the booking widget and language preference. Optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) only if you don’t block them. No third-party advertising cookies on this site.

Why we have it.

• Run the engagement. Schedule calls, deliver guides, send invoices, run the work we said we’d run.
• Email you. Newsletter, course updates, post-purchase sequences. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Click it and we stop.
• Improve. Anonymous, aggregated analytics on which pages convert. We don’t profile individuals.
• Legal. Tax records, contract obligations, dispute resolution. We keep what the law tells us to keep, for as long as it tells us to keep it.

Who we share it with.

We don’t sell your data. Ever. Period. We do use a small stack of vendors to operate the business:

• GoHighLevel — CRM, booking, email/SMS delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google Workspace — email, calendar, drive.
• Cloudflare / WordPress host — site delivery, security.
• Google Analytics, Meta Pixel — aggregate site analytics (only if you allow cookies).

Each vendor is bound by their own data processing terms. We share only what they need, and we never give vendors permission to use your data for their own marketing.

How long we keep it.

• Newsletter contacts — until you unsubscribe.
• Lead magnet downloads — 18 months from last open or click, then archived.
• Customers — 7 years for tax + contract records, per US/EU norms.
• Booking no-shows — 12 months, then deleted.

Your rights.

Wherever you live, you can email hello@iammarketing.io and ask us to:

• Show you what we have on you.
• Correct anything that’s wrong.
• Delete it (unless we’re legally required to keep it).
• Stop emailing you (a one-click unsubscribe also does this).
• Export your data in a portable format.

If you’re in California (CCPA/CPRA), the EU/UK (GDPR), or Brazil (LGPD), those laws give you these rights specifically. We honor them regardless of where you are.

Cookies, specifically.

Strictly necessary cookies (language preference, booking widget session) load by default — without them the site doesn’t function. Analytics cookies are optional. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time without losing core functionality.

Security.

We use TLS in transit, encrypted databases at rest, 2FA on admin accounts, and least-privilege access internally. No system is unbreakable. If we ever experience a breach affecting your data, we’ll notify you within 72 hours of confirming it.

Children.

This service is for businesses and operators. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes.

We update this policy when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent edit. Material changes get an email to active subscribers.
